Establish a Morning Routine

With the days blending together, it is hard to get into the habit of establishing routines.

What is the point you may be saying?

NOW, MORE THAN EVER, it is important that we implement some normalcy into our day, starting with a morning routine that will kickstart our day into gear.

Your morning routine could involve the following—these habits sound so remedial, but they are effective in changing your mindset, especially in this challenging time:

  1. Make Your Bed
  2. Drink a Glass of Water
  3. Meditate
  4. Set Your Intention for the Day and Then Execute

A morning routine gives your day a purpose! I posted this video (click here) earlier because it is so powerful and definitely helped snap me out of my coronavirus funk.  I encourage you to watch it and then set and implement your morning routine.

There is light at the end of this dark tunnel. We will get through this and thrive.

[Every Monday, a new ‘habit’ will be posted as part of my Bright Light Living Healthy Habits series. These ‘Healthy Habits’ encompass habits for the mind, body, spirit, and one’s perspective of life—in order to LIVE BRIGHT.  You may wish to implement the habits each week (if so, I encourage you to download the Healthy Habits Assessment form). Or, the week’s habit can simply serve as a journal prompt or something to ponder.  It’s up to you. I do hope you will check in each week.]
