Hold Yourself Accountable

There is something to be said about working for someone vs. working for yourself. The difference is that in working for someone else, you are accountable to someone else.  Which means that you, in this scenario, may find yourself working harder, being more focused, and intentional with your goals.

Why is this?

It is because the source of motivation is different.

Entrepreneurs and/or those with personal goals must be responsible for their actions. There is no one else pushing them, telling them that they MUST achieve these goals. The source of motivation must come from within.

This mindset is how we must treat all of our goals. If we really want to achieve our goals, we cannot let ourselves off the hook.

We must hold ourselves accountable. We must make our goals accountable. They are not simply “wishes” or “hopes”.

Our goals must be held accountable with deadlines, discipline, action steps–and by making our goals known to others.

Think about this?

Are you letting yourself off the hook?  Or are you pursuing your goals with intensity and holding yourself accountable?

You are your own boss . . . show your boss how great you are!
