Be Kind to Your Body

I had a wakeup call this weekend . . . the call was from my body and it said, “Please be kind to me.”

Actually, the caller was not that polite. Instead, he DEMANDED RESPECT. And I had no choice but to oblige.

I think a lot of us may have used COVID-19 as a free pass to indulge. First, it was a form of coping and now it has become an excuse to eat, drink, and let all of our previous healthy habits go by the wayside.

So, TODAY . . . THIS WEEK . . . and then EVERY DAY THEREAFTER. Let’s be kind to our bodies.

Let’s get back to focusing on being in shape, eating healthy, and implementing regular practices that keep us physically strong and feeling well.

Previous “Healthy Habits for Bright Light Living” have been:

Drink 8-10 Glasses of Water

Track a Healthy Diet

Do Not Eat After 8 P.M.

Avoid Bread and Processed Sugar

Make Exercise a Regular Practice

You may have gotten away from some of the above “Healthy Habits” and if so, get back on it. TODAY. No more excuses.

It is especially critical NOW during this pandemic to do everything in our power to give our bodies the kind of treatment it deserves. The stronger it is, the more difficult it will be for viruses to attack it.

What does your diet look like? For me, it will be a diet of Leans, Greens, and Beans.

How much are you exercising? Are you drinking enough water?

Instead of adding a new habit this week, I want everyone to focus on being kind to our bodies. After all, we only get one.  🙂
